My story

I’m Barbara Kopčič, founder of ZANE ACTIVE, a brand named after my two sons (Žan and Nejc). My story began with a simple idea: to create activewear that combines premium quality, unparalleled comfort, figure-flattering design, and elegant style so every woman feels confident while being active. The goal was to bring all of this together in a single piece — and that’s how the first collection was born.

Even as a student, I dreamed of studying design and created my own clothing, which was always praised wherever I went. But priorities changed dramatically with the arrival of my children, and I shifted from a very extravagant fashion style to a sporty-elegant look — which also received constant compliments. As a passionate sports enthusiast myself (hiking, fitness, horseback riding, and tennis), I saw an opportunity here: most activewear compromises either style or comfort. I wanted to change that by creating pieces that move with you, inspire your lifestyle, shape and enhance your figure, and are incredibly comfortable — giving you that true sense of confidence.
